About Us
The Sacramento Legends Baseball Club was established in 2002 and the team is comprised of university and college level student-athletes aspiring to play at the next level or simply improve in the off-season as well as college graduates who still wish to compete at the highest amateur level – the Legends provide these amateur baseball players with these opportunities. |
Each season the Sacramento Legends compete against the top collegiate and semi-pro teams in California and Nevada. The Legends are a member of the Nor-Cal Semi-Pro Conference and registered with the American Amateur Baseball Congress (A.A.B.C.) in the Stan Musial division. The Legends were the California Collegiate League Champions in 2002, have won three Nor-Cal Semi-Pro Conference Championships in their history (including back-to-back Conference Championships in 2006-2007), and were the 2006 State Runner-Up and Western Regional Champions (earning a berth in the Stan Musial World Series in Huntsville, Texas). The Legends also won the first annual "Crack of the Bat" tournament in Yountville in 2005. |
